Hi, I’m Clément.
I’m a product designer, and Tiroir is my project — conceived, designed and built on my own. The idea is simple: you take a photo of an item, the AI writes its entry, and your inventory finally keeps itself up to date.
I build in public, I get things wrong in public, and I learn far faster talking to people than sitting in front of my screen. That’s what this page is all about.
Why Tiroir
Everyone owns hundreds of things and nobody really knows what they have. We buy again what we already had, we sell off what was worth something, we can’t find the receipt when we need it. Keeping an inventory is useful to everyone — and tedious enough that nobody does it.
Tiroir removes the tedious part. One photo, and the entry is written: category, material, condition, estimated value. The rest — collections, sharing a link, keeping track of what’s sold or put away — is just there so the inventory lives on beyond the day you created it.
The app is available on the App Store and Google Play. It gets better every week, thanks to feedback from the people who really use it.
What I’m looking for
I’m not looking to raise money (yet). I’m looking for people: to advise me, push back on me, open a door for me, or simply share an experience I don’t have.
Advice, not orders
Product, pricing, growth, raising money or not: I move fast but alone, and I need people who have been down that road to challenge my blind spots.
People who know the field
Second-hand, thrift shops, antique dealers, insurance, moving, estates: if you live in one of these worlds day to day, your view is worth ten market studies.
Maybe a co-founder
I design and code the product. The day someone wants to take on the business, distribution or tech side with me, the door is wide open.
Demanding users
People who have too much stuff, who test the app for real and tell me straight what’s not working. That’s what moves Tiroir forward fastest.
My calendar is open
30 minutes, on video, no set agenda. Whether you have advice, a question, criticism or are just curious about the project: grab a slot, it’s yours.
